Word of the Week #2

Stodgy

Source: http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=718524

How it was used: "Even though the basic structure has remained essentially the same throughout the years, the 911 can never be called stodgy or behind the times."

Definition: adjective: 1. Dull or uninteresting.
2. Of a thick, heavy as food.
3. Old-fashioned.
4. Dull, graceless, inelegant.

My sentence: The fashion-forward executive had no intention of hiring anyone wearing a stodgy outfit.
